The dew indicator appears when exces-
sive moisture
(condensation)
has entered
the camcorder.
The camcorder
will not
operate when this indicator appears.
Place the camcorder
in a warm, dry area
until this indicator disappears.
Exposure Indicators (+03)
This indicator appears when you are
adjusting
brightness
manually using the
EXPOSURE
menu.
Make sure the AE
dial is not set to AUTO.

Fade and Wipe Indicators
(FADE and
[] FADER)
The indicator and name for the fade or
wipe you select with the FADE button
briefly appear here. The indicator
remains.

• Select [] FADER to fade in and out
from a black screen.
• Select [] MOSAIC to fade in and out
with a mosaic effect.
Select k-'ICORNER to wipe in on a
black screen from the upper fight
comer to the lower left comer or wipe
out from the lower left comer to the
upper right comer.
Select [] SCROLL
to wipe in from a
black screen from the bottom to the top
or wipe out from the top to the bottom.
Select OFF to turn off fade or wipe.
Focus
Indicators

These indicators appear when you are
adjusting focus manually
using the
FOCUS menu.:.Make sure the AE dial is
not set to AUTO.
