Power on the HDM( device you wish to connect to
the A/V receiver (such as a disc p)ayer, cab)e box,
or sateU)te receiver). AUow the device to comp)ete
the power-on sequence (boot up). Stop p)ayback if
the device starts p)aying.
Se)ect the device's HDM( input on the A/V receiv=
er's front pane) contro)s or remote control
Connect the device to the A/V receiver with an
HDM( cab)e.
When the TV detects the connection, the New
Device Found screen wiU appear.
Note:
If the TV is unable to detect the device, either
the device's CEC capability is not enabled or
the device is not CEC compatible.
Enable
HDMI control through the device's menus
before continuing.
You may need to temporar-
ily connect the device directly to the TV to view
device menus.
Highlight On and
press ENTER to
add a check.

Highlight EXIT and press ENTER to close the New
Device Found screen.

Connect the TV's DiG(TAL AUD(O
OUTPUT to an input on the A/V receiver. Use this
additional connection
