842 Series. These settings affect audio from the AUDmOiSURROUND OUTPUT jacks.
Fixed Use with an anaBog A/V receiver. ControB voBume from the A/V receiver. The
voBume of the audio output signaB is fixed and is unaffected by the TV's voBume
control
Variabme Use with headphones. Adjust headphone voBume using the TV's voBume con-
trois. When set to Variabme, the audio output signaB is adjustabBe from the TV's
voBume controBs.
Rear Sends left and right rear audio to externaB speakers. Use when suppBementing
the TV's speaker array with externaB rear speakers. See "ExternaB Rear Speak-
ers," page 15.
SeBect On to turn on audio to a connected subwoofer. Set to Off if no subwoofer is connected.
Sound Auto SP
842 Series. Performs auto caBibration of the Sound Projector speaker array. Use of this
menu is expBained in the Basic Owner's Guide supplied with the television.
842 Series. Lets you set up the Sound Projector speaker array manually. Use of this
