Supplemental Audio Connections (842 series)
Add a subwoofer to compBement the TV's speaker array
or use the TV's speakers as a center channeB for your
externaB sound system.
Adding a Subwoofer
Add a subwoofer to compBement the TV speakers with
a fuller bass sound.
o After connecting a subwoofer, you must enabBe the
TV's subwoofer output in the TV's Sound menu. Go
to Sound > Global > Subwoofer and set it to On.
To control subwoofer voBume
Press the AUDIOkey and then press V to find
the subwoofer voBume slider. Press 4 _ to
change the voBume.
Open the Sound > Audio menu. HighBight
Subwoofer and press ,8 )_ to adjust. Press
MENUto return to the Sound > Audio menu.
Subwoofer with Audio Cable
Connect the subwoofer directBy to the TV's SUBWOOFER
OUTPUT.
Wireless Subwoofer
Mitsubishi recommends Polk Audio WireBess Subwoofer
modeB PSW i8m. The transmitter moduBe can be
conveniently powered from the TV's USB power port.
Connect an audio cabBe to the transmitter to suppBy
audio from the TV's SUBWOOFER OUTPUT.
