Setting the timer
This special feature allows you to program the TV to turn on
automatically at a specific time to the channel that you ;_et.
The clock must be set prior to setting the timer.

To set the timer:
0 Press the MENU bu_;ton on the
remote control. The Main
Menu will appear on the screen.
O Use tile ADJUST buttons to
select "Advanced Features".
Press ENTER/EXCE.

You will see the "Advanced
Features" screen. Use the
ADJUST buttons to _elect
"Set the Timer". Press
ENTER!EXCH.

If you have not set the time, you
will be automatically routed to
the "Set the clock" menu.

Use the ADJUST bu'otons and
the ENTER button to set Day
(Mon-to-Fri, Everyday, Sun -
Sat), ;Start time, Antenna, and
Channel.
After ,_etting the timer, the
Program Timer indicator will
blink in green while Lhe TV is
turned off.
If you press the CANCEL button while setting the timer, the arrow
will move to the previous item. To clear the timer, press CANCEL
when "Day" is selected.
When the timer turns the TV on, the display will flash. [f you do
not press any remote control button within 5 minutes after the TV
turns on, the TV will automatically turn off. Press a flmction
button (such as the INFO button) to keep the TV on and to stop the
flashing display.
