The microwave oven Start k eybegins a lloven functions. Once a
cooking s etup function i scomplete, theStart k ey willilluminate
until t ouched. If nottouched w ithin 2minutes a fter e ntering a
cooking f unction, thedisplay w ill r eturn tothesleep mode and
theprogrammed
function w illbecancelled.

Touching Start w hen themicrowave oven isoffwillstart
1 minute o fcook time at100% power. Touching Start w hile the
microwave oven isoperating will a dd1minute o fcook time tothe
current cycle. Multiple 1 -minute increments canbeadded by
repeatedly touching S tart.
Attheendofeach cooking c ycle theendscreen i sdisplayed. At
this stage, time canbeadded bychoosing the"Add Time" o ption
ortokeep foodwarm bychoosing the"Warm Hold" o ption. See
the"Warm Hold" s ection.
The UPPER O VEN O FF key stops therespective oven functions
except fortheClock, Timer andControl Lock. The oven cooling
fan may continue tooperate e ven after a noven function h as been
cancelled orcompleted, depending ontheoven temperature.
IftheUPPER OVEN OFF key istouched, thedisplay w illreturn t o
theMain Menu f rom anymenu.
The CANCEL key will a ppear during acooking c ycle. IfCANCEL
istouched, thecooking c ycle will b ecancelled and thedisplay
will r eturn totheMain Menu.
During p rogramming,
theCLEAR k eychanges thenumeric
programming
values, such asminutes, seconds andcook power
thatareactive inthedisplay totheir d efault value.
Forexample, while entering acook time, t ouching CLEAR w ill
change t hetime youhave already entered t o"0:00."
The CLEAR k ey gives aninvalid s ignal iftouched d uring a
cooking c ycle. See "Sounds" section.
The Control Lock shuts down thecontrol panel keys toavoid
unintended use oftheoven(s). The Control Lock will r emain s et
after a power failure, ifsetbefore t hepower failure o ccurs.
When t hecontrol islocked, only theTIMER S ET, TIMER OFF and
OVEN LIGHT k eys will f unction.
The Control Lock ispreset unlocked, butcanbelocked.
ToLockControl: From theupper o ven control panel, touch and
hold START forapproximately
5seconds, until " CONTROLS
LOCKED" anda lockicon appears inthedisplay a nd a
confirmation
tonesounds i ndicating theoven control hasbeen
locked. "Controls locked" andthelockicon willappear inthe
display f orapproximately
5seconds.
Ifa key istouched w hile thecontrols a relocked, theinvalid k ey
touch tone willsound a ndareminder message will b edisplayed
indicating thatthecontrol islocked.
ToUnlock Control: Repeat tounlock t hecontrol. Atone will
sound and acontrols u nlocked message will b edisplayed for
approximately
5 seconds.
The Timer issetinhours a ndminutes and counts d own theset
time. T imes o fmore thanone hour w ill c ount d own bytheminute.
Inthelasthour, thetime will c ount d own byminute a ndsecond.
NOTE: The Timer does notstart o rstop theoven.
To Set:
1. Touch TIMER SET.
2. Use the "plus" (+) or "minus" (-) keys to adjust the time or
enter the desired timer setting using the numerical keys.
3. Touch START TIMER.
If Start Timer is not touched, the control will continue to wait.
When the set time ends, if enabled, end-of-cycle
tones will
continuously
repeat until the Timer Off key is touched.
4. Touch TIMER OFF anytime to cancel the Timer or stop the
reminder tones.
If UPPER OVEN OFF key is touched, the respective oven will turn
off; however, the Timer can only be turned off using the Timer Off
key.
