The COMPU LINK remote
control sys_rn
allows you te operate
JVCb audio components
through
the remote
sensor
on
the receiver.
'lb ase this remote control system, you need to connect JVC's audio
components t_rough the COMPU L1NK (SYNCHItO) jacks (see
below) in addition m the connacdons using cables with RCA Nn
plugs (see pages 12 and 13).
• Make sure that the AC power cords of these components are
u_pltlgged before connacdon. Plug tbe AC power co_

Automatic
Source Selection
When you Fsess the play (1_) button on a connected component or
on its own remote control, the receiver aumm_icMly rams on and
changes the source to the component. On the other hand, if you
select a new' source on the reccivar or on the remote control, the
selacted component begins playing immediately'.
In both cases, the Fseviously selected sottrce continues playing
without sound for a few' seconds.

will turn on automatically, depending on which component has been
previously selected.

Syncl_ronized recording means the c_sette deck (.orMD recmder)
starts recmding as soon as a CD begins playing,
'lb use synchrodized recording, follow these steps:
1. Put a tape in the cassette
deck (or an _
in the
MD recorder),
and a disc in the CD player.
2. Press the record (O) button
and the pau_
(ll)
button on the eas_tte
deck (or MD recorder)
at
the same time.
This puts the cassette deck _cq" M D recordar) into recording
passe,
if you do not press the record (O) lmtton and pause

button at
the same time, the synchronized recmding feature wilI not
operate.
3. Press the play (1.-) button
on the CD player.
The sottrce changes on the receiver, and as soon as play starts,
the cassette deck (or MD recordo_) starts recording. _en
the
play ends, the cassette deck (o_"MD recorder) enters recording
passe, and stops about 4 seconds later.
Notes:
• During synchronized
recording, the selected source cannot be
changed.
• Ifthepowerofanycomponentieehutoffduringeynehrenized
recording, the COMPU LINK remote control system may not
operate properly. In this case, you must start again from the
beginning,
