Pedal S pring(62).Using anadjustable w rench, r emove the1/2"Nylon Locknut ( 46)
from the end of the Pedal
Shaft. (There is an 11/16 = Spring Washer (61), a Pedal Spring (52), an 11/16" Washer (54), a Pedal Bushing
(56), a 9/16" Washer (56) and a 9/16" Pedal Spacer (73) on the Pedal Shaft.) Using the included tool, firmly
tighten the Pedal Shaft, in a clockwise direction, into one of the arms of the Crank (27). While holdingthe Pedal
Shaft with the included tool, use an adjustable wrench to tighten the 1/2" Nylon Locknut (46) onto the end of the
Pedal Shaft. (There is a 5/16" Washer (65) and a 5/16" Pedal Nut (49) on the other end of the Pedal Shaft. The
5/16" Pedal Nut (49) must be flush with the end of the Pedal Shaft,) Press a Pedal Cap (50) into the Pedal

Attach the other Pedal Shaft to the other arm of the Crank in the same manner (not shown).
