• Reassemble thenew friction wheel r ubber to
thefriction wheel assembly tightening thesix
screws inrotation a ndwithequal
f orce.
• Positionthe frictionwheel assembly up onto
the pin of the shift rod assembly and slide the
shaft through the friction wheel. See Figure 30.
• Slide the shaft intothe hex I.D. of the sprocket,
the spacer and the leftball bearing and secure
with the bell washer and hex bolt.

carburetor), keep clear of all movingparts.
Be careful of heated surfaces and muffler.
