Opening The System

CAUTION: Installing the feet on a stand-alone tower system is necessary to provide a stable foundation for the
system. Failure to install the feet poses the risk of having the system tip over, possibly causing bodily injury or
damage to the system.
NOTE: It is recommended that you always use a static mat and static strap while working on components in the
interior of the system.
1.
Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.
2.
Rotate the latch release lock counter clockwise to the unlocked position.
3.
Press down on the cover release latch and rotate the latch end of the cover away from the system.
4.
Grasp the cover on both sides, and carefully move the cover away from the system.

Closing The System

1.
Place the bottom edge of the cover, opposite from the cover release latch, into the slots in the system chassis.
2.
Lower the cover into the chassis.
3.
Press the latch end of the cover into the chassis until the latch locks into place.
