Using the He_p Menu
The Help Menu [] provides helpful information and tips for
using your camera.
] Usethe _ _ buttonsto moveacrossthe menutabsto the
Hdp Menu [] tab. TheHelp Menu [] displaysin the
Image Display.
2 UsetheA v buttonsto highlightthe Helptopic you want
to read.
3 Press theMenu/OK button to display the Help topic.
4 Usethe A v buttonsto scrollthrough the Helptopic to
read it.
B Press theMenu/OK button to exit the Helptopic and return
to the Help Menu [].
Camera Status Screen
A status screen appears for a few
seconds in the Image Display any
time you press the Mode, Focus,
FJash,or Tirner,,/Bu_t buttons when
Live View is off.
As shown in theexamplehere,a text
descriptionof the currentsettingfor
the buttonthat was just pressed appears at the top of the
screen.Beneaththat, iconsfor the currentshootingmode,
FJash, F ocus, a nd Timer/Burstsettings are shown,with the icon
for the buttonthat was just pressedhighlighted.Thebottom
portion of the screen showswhethera memorycard is installed
(indicated by the SD icon), the batterylevel,the numberof
picturesremaining,and theImage Quality setting(indicated in
theexample by the 5MP and two stars.
