This method sets up your camera to function as a disk drive
when it is connected to your computer.
] Set your camera to Disk Drive mode (you only need to do
this step once):
a_ Turn the camera on, and then press the Menu/OK Button
to display the Copfure Menu.
b_ Use the _ Button to navigate to the Setup Menu.
c_ Use the v
button to highlight the USB menu option, and
then press Menu/OK.
d_ Use the v
Button to select Disk Drive, and then press
e_ Use the v
button to highlight EXIT,and then press
2 Onceyour camera is setto DiskDrive mode, connectthe
camerato your computerusingthe USBcable
3 At this point, theprocessfor transferringimages isthe same
as describedin thesectionUsinga Memory Card Reader
on page 126. On Windows computers,the camerawill
appear asa Removable Disk in the Windows Explorer
screen.On Macintoshcomputers,eitherthe Image Capture
or iPhotoapplication will launchautomatically.
