The c amera isequipped with an accessory shoe, allowing the following
Speedlights or Wireless Speedlight Commander tobe attached tothe camera. Use
the Speedlights when t he built-in flash cannot provide sufficient lighting.
• Speedlights %-400, %-600, %-700, %-800, %-900
• Wireless Speedlight Commander SU-800
The b uilt-in flash i sset to@ (oft} automatically when u sing Speedlights. While _ is
displayed onthe monitor, the Speedlight flash m ode is also d isplayed onthe
monitor, and itcan beset with the same procedure as the built-in flash ( _61).
How to Attach a Speedlight
• Remove tile accessory shoe cover before attaching a
Speedlight as shown on tile right.
• When the built-in flash is raised, gently push to lower
the flash until it clicks shut.
• Refer to tile instruction manual of your Speedlight for
more information on how to attach Speedlight and
details on how to use it.
Replace the accessory shoe cover when the Speedlight is not in use.
