The Basics of Shooting and Playback Preparation 1 Charge the Battery Prepare the included battery charger. If a plug adapter* is included with your camera, attach the plug adapter to the plug on the battery charger. Push the plug adapter firmly until it is securely held in place.

Using the Flash You can shoot images with a flash by raising the built-in flash. You can set the flash mode to match the shooting conditions. Lower the K (flash pop-up) control to raise the flash. • When the flash is lowered, flash operation is disabled and S is displayed.
