Editing Pictures (Still Pictures)
[] Small Picture: Reducing Image Size
Create a small copy of the current picture. This feature is useful for displaying on
Web pages and using as e mail attachments. Small copies are stored as files with a
compression ratio of approximately 1:16. The [] 640x480, [] 320x240, and []
160xl 20 sizes are available.

Select the desired picture in full-frame
playback mode ([_[_] 32) or thumbnail
playback mode ([_[_] 33) and press the
MENU
button.
• The playback menu is displayed.

Use the multi selector to choose [] Small
picture and press the _]_ button.
3 Choose the desired copy size and press the _]_
button.

Choose Yes and press the _) button, e
• A new, smaller copy is created.
• To exit without saving the copy, choose No and press
the _}_ button.
• The copy is displayed with a black frame.
