The following settings can be changed in the setup
menu by selecting the V tab.
Option Description
Allows you to select the picture displayed as the welcome
screen when tile camera is turned on. Select COOLPIX to

display the COOLPIX logo. Select Select an image to use a
)icture taken with tile camera as the welcome screen.
Allows you to set settings related to tile camera's date and
time. Tile Time zone setting allows you to specify tile time
zone where the camera is mainly used and whether or not
Time zone and daylight saving time is in effect. When the travel
date destination (;_I-) is selected, the camera automatically
calculates the time difference between the travel
destination and the home time zone (_), and saves
pictures using the date and time of the travel destination.
Allows you to select the kind of information that is
displayed during shooting mode and playback mode. If
you select Framing grid+auto info, a grid is displayed
when shooting to help you frame the shot. The default
setting is Auto info. _ 64
Monitor settings _ You can also set the photo information displayed in
playback mode, the image review settings, and the
monitor brightness.
The Image review and Brightness settings are not
available when the projector is in operation.
When power saving mode is enabled, projector brightness
Projector settings _ is automatically adjusted to save power. _ 65
The default setting is Off.
