Readythe camera.

illuminator and microphone.

Use the viewfinder to frame pictures (_16) when bright light makes it difficult to see the display on
the monitor.

• In the following situations, use of a tripod is recommended to avok.t the effects of camera shake:
When shooting in a dark location or with the flash mode (_66) set to @ (off)
When shooting in the telephoto zoom position
• To take a picture with the camera attached to a tripod, set Vibration reduction in the setup
menu (_ 108) to Off,
