Creating a Cropped Copy: Crop
This function is only available when _ is displayed in the rnonitor with
playback zoom (_ 43) enabled. Cropped copies are stored as separate files.
1 Press T (C{) in full-frame playback mode to
zoom io oo the image,
2 Refine copy composition.
• Press T or W to adjust the zoom ratio•
• Press the multi selector A, V, • or • to scroll the
picture until only the portion you want to copy is visible
in the monitor

Use the multi selector to choose [Yes] and
press _),
• A new picture, containing only the portion visible in
the monitor, is created
• Choose [No] to cancel the creation of a new picture
and press _)
Depending on the size of the original picture and the zoom ratio in
effect at the time the copy was created, the camera will automatically select one of the following
image mode settings for cropped copies (unit: pixels)
• _3,264x2,448 • ,_ 2,816 × 2,112 • _2,592× 1,944
• [] 2,272 x 1,704 • _ 2,048 x 1,536 • _ 1,600 x 1200
• [] 1,280 x 960 • _ 1,024 x 768 • _ 640 × 480
• EqI320x240 • E!.ldOx120
When the image mode setting for cropped copies is [CII 320 x 240] or [C 1. 160 x 120], these pictures
are displayed with a gray frame
