Focus Lock
When tile camera focuses on an object in tile center of tile frame, you car] u se focus lock to
focus on an off-center subject.
Use the following procedure when taking pictures using I_1 (auto) mode.
1 Aim the camera at the subject so that the subject is in the center of the
frame.
2 Pressthe shutter-release button
halfway.
• Confirm that the focus area turns green,
• Focus and exposure are locked.

the way down to take the
