Using the Self-timer
Tile camera's self-timer car] release tile shutter about 10 seconds after you press the shutter-
release button.
The self4imer is useful when you want to be in the picture you are taking, or when you want
to avoid the effects of camera shake that occur when you press the shutter-release button.
When using the self-timer, use of a tripod is recommended. Set Vibration reduction to Off
in the setup menu (_]] 96) when shooting using a tripod to stabilize the camera.
