Operating the Erase Selected Images Screen
Press the multi selector _ or I_ to select an
image to be deleted, and then press • to
display _/.
• To undo the selection, press • to remove !_,
• Rotate the zoom control (_ 2) to T (% to switch to full
frame playback mode or W (_;_) to display thumbnails,

Add _ to all images that you want to delete and then press the
_) button to confirm the selection.
• A confirmation dialog is displayed. Follow the instructions displayed in the monitor.
_1_ NotesAbout Deletion
• Deleted images cannot be recovered. Copy important images to a computer before deleting
them from the camera,
• Protected images (_ 76) cannot be deleted,
_1_ Deleting Images in a Sequence
• If you press the -_ button and delete a key picture while only key pictures are displayed for
sequences of images (_ 30), all images in the sequence, including the key picture, are deleted.
• To delete individual images in a sequence, press the _) button to display them one at a time and
then press the _ button.

When using shooting mode, press the _ button to delete the last image that was saved.
