Slow Motion Playback
This Palmcorder can play back at a slow speed.
1 Pressthe [1_] Button.
2 Press the [-,I] Button or the [I, _] Button on the Remote
Controller.
eWhen the [41] Button is pressed, Slow Motion Playback proceeds in the
reverse direction, while pressing the [IJ*] Button starts Slow Motion
Playback in the forward direction.
Scenes recorded in the SP mode are played back at approximately 1/5th of
the normal speed.
Scenes recorded in the LP mode are played back at approximately l/3rd of
the normal speed.
Resuming Normal Playback
Pressthe [1_] Button.

Still Playback/Still A dvance Playback
This Palmcorder is capable of still picture playback and frame-advanca
playback.
1 Press the [1_] Button.
2 Press the [I I] Button.
eThe playback image stops in the Still Playback Mode.
3 Press the [-,I] Button or the [I,-] Button on the Remote
Controller.
eWith each pressing of the [.,I] Button, still pictures advance in the
reverse direction. With each pressing of the lira-] Button, still pictures
advance in the forward direction. If either one of the Buttons is pressed
continuously, still pictures advance continuously one frame at a time
until the Button is released.
Resuming Normal Playback
Press the [11_]Button or [11] Button.
mJog Playback
By rotating the Jog Dial ([PUSH] Dial) O of the Palmcorder in the Still
Playback Mode, still pictures can be advanced one frame at a time in the
forward or reverse direction.
elf the Palmcorder is lef_ in the Still Playback Mode for more than 5 minutes,
the Palmcorder switches to the Stop Mode to protect the video heads from
excessive wear and tear.
Finding the End of a Recording
(Blank Search Function)
The Blank Search Function helps you to locate the end of a Recording on the
Cassette quickly.
1 Set [VCR FUNCTIONS] >> [PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS] >>
[BLANK SEARCH] >> [YES].
oThe [BLANK] Indication O appears.
*Approximately 1 second before the last recorded scene, the Palmcorder
switches to the Still Playback Mode.
• If there is no blank portion left on the Cassette, the Palmcorder stops at
the end of the tape.
Canceling Blank Search prior to completion
Press the [11]Button.
