A problem occurs when the camcorder is connected to the AC Adaptor.
• Turn off the power, and remo_e the AC Adaptor from the wall outlet. Then, connect it again.
An unknown image appears on the screen.
• The camcorder is in [DEMO MODE] (p59) Touch the LCD screen
An unknown indicator appears on the screen.
• They may be _xarning indicators or messages (p.88).
The image remains on the LCD screen.
• This occurs if you remove the AC Adaptor from the _dl outlet or remove the battl:l T pack
without turning off Ihe power first. This is not a malfunction.
You cannot turn the LCD backlight off.
• During Easy Handycam operation (p.24L you cannot turn the LCD backlight on/off pressing
and holding DISP/BATT INFO. Cancel Easy Handycam operation (p.27).
The buttons do not appear on the touch panel.
• Touch the LCD screen lightly.
• Press DISP/BATT INFO on your camcorder (or DISPLAY on the Remote Commander)

The buttons on the touch panel do not work correctly or do not work at all.
• A(ljust the scr_:en ([CALIBRATION]) (p.97).
• If you change the aspect ratio of the image, the aspect ratio of the buttons of the touch panel
and indicators will sx_itch to the selected one (p.23).
The image in the viewfinder is not clear.
• Extend the vie_ finder (p.20).
• Use the vie_finder lens adjustment lever to adjust the lens (p.20).
The image in the viewfinder has disappeared.
• The image is not displayed in the xriex_finder when the LCD screen is open. Ck)se the LCD
screen (p.20).
