The [DROP SENSOR[ is set to [ON] as the
default setting. When the drop sensor senses
a drop of the camcorder 1_ appears), you
may not record/play back tile images to
protect tile internal hard disk.

such as roller-coasting or skydiving, you can set

[EMPTY HDD] allows you to write non
important data onto the hard disk of the
camcorder. In this way, it may become more

[EMPTY HDDI.
• If you perlorm [EMPTY HDD]. all the images
are deleted. To awlid tile loss of ilnportanl inlages,
lhey sbould be saved (p.44) belbrc perlbrnling
[EMPTY HDD].
(!) Be sure the AC Adaptor is connected. While
pressing DISP/BATT INFO, slide the
POWER
switch to turn on.

• Renlove all cables except the AC Adaptor. Do not
i:emove the AC Adaptor during the operation.
• While perlornling [EMPTY HDDI, do not apply
ally vibrations or sbocks.
• When you have cancclled [EMPTY HDDI during
file operalion, perlorm [HDD FORMAT] or
[EMPTY HDD] when you ii_ tile camcorder lor
file next time,
• Prolecled images (p,69) are also deleled.
