Connect audio cords.

Press TV to switch the function to TV.

Start playing the connected
component.
1 Connect a digital optical cord.

2 Connect 6 speakers to an AV amplifier
equipped with a decoder.
For the speaker placement, re[_r to the
operating instructions supplied with the
connected amplifier.
3 Press DVD SETUP in stop mode.
The Setup Display appears.

Press 4_ or -I_ repeatedly to select
"AV', then press ENTER.
5 Press _' or _, repeatedly to select
"Dolby Digital" or "DTS', then press
ENTER.

Press _' or _, repeatedly to select "Bit
Stream", then press ENTER.
7 Press DVD SETUP to turn off the Setup
Display.
8 Switch the output to 5.1 channel Dolby
Digital sound or 5.1 channel DTS
sound.

Note
If "Dolb) Digital" or 'DTS" is set to "Bit Stream,
sound is not
output
from the supplied speakers and
optional headphone does not flmction.
