i Sleep Timer
You can set the system to turn off after a certain
time, so that you can fall asleep to music.
Press SLEEP.
Each time you press the button, the mhmte
display (the turn-off time) changes cyclically as
%llows:
AUTO* ---+ 90 ---+ 80 ---+ 70 ---+ ... ---+ 10 ---+
OFF
* The system automatically turns off in 100 minutes or
after the current disc or tape finishes playing.

Check the SLEEP once.

Change the time SLEEP repeatedly to select the

Cancel the Sleep SLEEP repeatedly until "SLEEP
Timer Function OFF" appears.

Tip
You can use the Sleep Timer, even if you have not set
the clock.
i Play Timer
You can wake up to music at a preset time. Make
sure you have set the clock (see "Setting the
clock" on page 11 ).
Use buttons on the remote li_r the operation.

Prepare the sound source you want to
play.
• DVD: Load a disc.
• Tape: Load a tape.
• Tuner: Tune in the preset radio station
(see "Listening
to the radio" on page 26).
Press CLOCFJ'FIMER SET.

Press 1.4<1or _ repeatedly to select
"PLAY SET", then press ENTER.
"ON" appears and the hour indication
flashes.

Set the time to start playing.
Press 1"4<1or _ repeatedly to set the
hour, then press ENTER.
The minute indication flashes.
Press _ or _ repeatedly to set the
minute, then press ENTER.
Set the time to stop playing following
the same procedure as step 4.
Press _ or _ repeatedly until the
desired sound source appears.
Each time you press the hutton, the display
changes cyclically as ti)llows:
Press ENTER.
The type of timer ("PLAY TIMER"), the
start time, the stop time, and the sound
source appear in turn, bel\_re tile original
display returns.
Press VOLUME + or - to adjust the
volume.
Press I/@ to turn off the system.
