Perform the calibration for both [Landscape] and [Portrait]. Touchscreen Calibration A standard user needs to perform the calibration as an administrator before performing the calibration for each user.   • Page 25 Sleep or Hibernation Functions Starting Up Your Computer Quickly The sleep or hibernation functions allow you to shut off the computer without closing programs and documents. You can quickly return to the programs and documents that you were working on before sleep or hibernation.

  • Page 36 Battery Power Checking the Remaining Battery Charge You can check the remaining battery charge on the screen. (After logging on to Windows) Press When the battery pack is inserted (example) : Normal temperature mode : High temperature mode (below) When the battery pack is not inserted NOTE The battery display may not correspond to the actual remaining battery charge in the cases as below.
  • Page 37 Battery Power NOTE Note that a level corresponding to a 100% charge for high temperature mode is approximately equivalent to an 80% charge level for normal temperature mode. After switching from [Normal Temperature] to [High Temperature] or vice versa, the remaining battery capacity will not be displayed correctly until the battery pack is completely discharged or fully charged.

  • Page 40 Battery Power Replacing the Battery Pack The battery pack is a consumable item so the replacement will be necessary. If the battery operation time becomes noticeably short and not recovered even after recalibrating the battery, replace with a new battery. CAUTION The battery pack is not charged when you first purchase it.

    Camera Using the Hand Strap The hand straps are attached on both sides of the computer respectively. To remove the hand strap, use a driver to remove the screws on each corner (A). CAUTION Do not use the strap to carry a heavier weight than the computer. Otherwise the strap may become loose by itself. Do not use the strap if it becomes worn or damaged.

When the computer is moved from hot and humid environment to low temperature environment, dew condensation may mist up inside the lens.
