    KEYPAD DESCRIPTION FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION The keypad contains 8 direct keys and 3 functional keys with the following functions: INSTRUMENT DESCRIPTION Press to perform the function displayed above it. The functions are screen related. Press to exit the current screen. Press to access the select method menu. Press to move up in a menu or a help screen, to increment a set value, to access second level functions.

    USING LIQUID AND POWDER REAGENTS TIPS FOR AN ACCURATE MEASUREMENT • Proper use of the dropper: The instructions listed below should be carefully followed during testing to ensure most accurate results. POWER CONNECTION AND BATTERY MANAGEMENT The meter can be powered from an AC/DC adapter (included) or from the built-in rechargeable battery. Note: Always turn the meter off before unplugging it to ensure no data is lost.

    Date / Time S E T U P S E T U P S E T U P S E T U P S E T U P This option is used to set the instrument’s date and time. Press Modify functional key to change the date/time. In the Setup mode the instrument’s parameters can be changed.

    Instrument ID ALUMINUM Option: 0 to 9999. This option is used to set the instrument’s ID (identification number). SPECIFICATIONS The instrument ID is used while exchanging data with a PC.
