4.4 Thread feeding mechanism

The thread feeding mechanism 2 is operated by the magnet 1.
When using thin thread, the thread feed-in device may not reopen wide
enough because of residual magnetism.
The spring 5 presses against the residual magnetism and thus helps
open the thread feed-in device 2.

Loosen locknut 4.
–
Push spring 5 accordingly:
To the right = increase spring tension,
To the left = decrease spring tension.

Tighten locknut 4.
