"Now setting SEC" will be displayed, followed by
"Security was set." Indicating that registration of the
key CD has been completed.
●
If a security setting has already been made, it will not be possible to register a key CD.
●
You cannot use a CD-RW, a CCCD (copy control CD), or an MP3 or WMA CD as the key
CD.
●
If there is a problem with the CD, the message "Could not complete security setting" is
displayed for 6 seconds. Insert a CD again.
●
Once a security setting has been made, the security indicator (see page 95) will flash
while the ignition switch is set to ACC OFF.
●
The registered key CD is required to perform operations like canceling the registration.
You are recommended to make a note of the registered CD (the name of the album) for
confirmation in case you forget it.
Canceling registration of the key CD
This operation cancels the registration of the key CD, rendering the unit's security
function inoperative.
