Loading Paper in the Multi-purpose Tray
Load paper in the multi-purpose tray. The paper loading procedure varies
depending on the paper type. Refer to the respective procedures for each paper
type.

When Loading Paper (Other than Postcards and Envelopes)
Perform the following procedure to load plain paper, heavy paper, transparencies,
labels, or coated paper in the multi-purpose tray.
IMPORTANT
Transparencies can only be printed in black and white.
•
It is not recommended to print on heavy paper that weighs between 177 and 220 g/m
•
(other than Postcard, Reply postcard, and 4 on 1 postcard). However, set the paper type
to "Heavy Paper 3" if you have to perform the printing.

Open the multi-purpose tray.
Holding the opening at the center of the printer, open the multi-purpose tray.
