Cottons and linen fabrics, eg bed linen, table linen,
towelling, jeans, underwear, T-shirts, nappies.
Wash load as for standard tests
(60°C) white nylon, white polyester fabrics (50°C), col-
oured nylon, polyester, cotton and viscose fabrics with
special finishes, acrylic, cotton fabrics, coloured poly-
ester / cotton fabrics, (40°/30°C) minimum iron fabrics
not washable at higher temperatures
Acrylics, acetate and triacetate, socks and stockings in
man-made fibres, (not wool or wool blends)
Curtains, specified machine-washable by the manufac-
turer (pre-wash probably advisable).
Programme for machine-washable or hand-washable

Also suitable for satin, lace, silk and other hand wash-
able garments.*
Very lightly soiled fabrics, which can be washed in the
Cottons programme.
Table cloths, napkins, overalls, uniforms.
Articles which can be spun, eg handwashed items,
max weight according to fabric.
Articles which should be washed by hand and only
rinsed and spun in the machine.
Suitable for small loads of garments made from
man-made fibres and cotton garments which can be
washed together. Sort according to colour.
If Cold is selected for the temperature, the water is warmed to 24°C. This uniform temperature helps
the effect of the detergent.
