To operate your Yamaha hardware from your computer via Ethernet, you'll need to install the DME-N Network Driver
software.
DME-N Network Driver is software that transfers MIDI data back and forth between your computer and the
hardware via Ethernet cable.
Connection of computer and device
Connect the computer to device by using an Ethernet cable via a network switch. When you connect the computer
to the device directly, use an Ethernet cable.

When you connect the computer to the M7CL directly, use a crossover cable.
DME-N Network Driver applies to the system requirements of Editor. Refer to the Editor's Installation Guide for
details.
The way to access the Control Panel will depend on your operating system.

Select [Start] [Control Panel].

In the Start screen, click [Desktop].
The desktop will appear.

Move the cursor to the upper right or lower right corner of the desktop.
The Charms bar will appear.
