TROUBLESHOOTING
If the Phone Up 4 stops working after you suc-
cessfully test it with each device, or if you are un-
able to get the Phone Up 4 to work at all, check
the following:
• Confirm that your remote controlled devices
work properly by using the original remote
control or the manual controls.
• Be sure you press the device key for the
device you want to control before you press
any other key.
• Replace the batteries.
• If some of the keys do not function for your
device, you might be able to find a better
device code. (See "Using Device Codes" on
Page 36.) If in doubt, try pressing
Generally, the code that allows mute to work
is the best code to use.
