7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 to install the other three DIMMs,
according to the rules listed in "Memory Configuration
Guidelines," until you have installed all DIMMs for your memory
configuration.

Removing DIMMs From the Memory Board

CAUTION
Follow these guidelines for removing DIMMs.
If reducing the number of DIMMs on the board, remove them only
in increments of one full bank (four DIMMs).
When you finish removing DIMMs, the remaining DIMMs should
be arranged on the board in one of the configurations shown in
Figures 2-4 through 2-7.
Do not rock the DIMM into place, but apply firm and
even pressure. If a gap exists between the retaining
clips and the DIMM module, remove the module and
repeat steps 5-6.
Wear a grounded anti-static wrist strap connected to
the NetServer chassis before installing DIMMs.
