Hewlett-Packard offers hardware replacements for the HP NetStorage
6000.
These replacements should be on hand prior to failure so the new part can
be installed quickly.
HP offers these kits:

Fan replacement kit
n
Hard drive replacement kit
n
Power supply replacement kit
n
SureCare kit (includes each of the above kits)
n
Hewlett-Packard also offers several hardware upgrades for the HP
NetStorage 6000. They are:
n
Storage upgrade, which allows you to add three (a new RAID set) or
more drives to your current system.
n
Network interface card upgrade, which allows you to add different
networks to your system.
n
Desktop conversion, which lets you make the unit more presentable for
desktop usage instead of rack mounting.
You can not replace the SCSI Host Adapter.
