Defining IP Addresses
Type — Displays the IP address type. The possible field values are:
Dynamic — Indicates the IP address is dynamically created.
Static — Indicates the IP address is a static IP address.
DHCP — Indicates the IP address was retrieved using DCHP.
Remove — Removes the DNS server entry.
DNS Server — Displays the DNS server IP address. DNS servers are added in the Add
DNS Server field.
Active Server — Specifies the DNS server that is currently active.
2. Select Enable DNS Status.
3. Define the Default Domain Name and Active Server fields.

1. Click System > Domain Name System > DNS Server. The DNS Server page opens.
