You must use a mic that supports plug-in power. This jack provides a 3.3 V power supply. Use the guitar/mic input adjustment slider ( ) to adjust the volume.

If you are using virus checking or similar software, be sure to exit it as well. Prepare the CD-ROM. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. Click the Windows start button.

In standard driver mode, audio signals are transferred between the UA-3FX and the computer at a resolution of 16 / 24 bits and sampling frequencies of 32 / 44.1 / 48 kHz.

    Applying effects The UA-3FX’s effects provide an easy way to change the character of the sound, and are a great convenience for audio editing. Three types of digital effect are provided, and these can be applied while you play back sound or record from a mic or guitar. You can use the four knobs to easily adjust the character of the effect that is applied to the mic, guitar, or the sound from the line inputs or digital input.

    Troubleshooting If an unexpected problem occurs while using the UA-3FX, please read this chapter first. It provides numerous hints that will help you solve problems. The problems covered in the troubleshooting section are organized according to the operating system on which the problem might be encountered. If you are using computer for the first time, or do not understand the explanation of a procedure, refer to the owner’s manuals for your computer or for OS.
