Taking the still picture
1. Press the PHOTO button.
- The still picture appears on the LCD monitor or viewfinder.
- To quit the PHOTO mode without recording, press the
PHOTO button again.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
- The still picture is recorded for about 8 seconds.
3. After the PHOTO recording, PHOTO mode is canceled.
Reference - To record the still picture, you must press
the START/STOP button.
- The PHOTO function will not operate in the
GHOST mode(in DSE).
Searching the PHOTO picture
The PHOTO SEARCH works in PLAYER mode only.
1. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
- The menu list will appear.
2. Using the , buttons, highlight PHOTO
SEARCH.
3. Press the ENTER button to enter the select
mode.
4. Using the , buttons, highlight the
search direction.
- Press the ENTER button.
- After searching, the camcorder displays
the still image and the menu is automatically turned off.

Foto-Aufnahme erstellen
1. Drücken Sie die Taste PHOTO.

Die Suchfunktion für Foto-Aufnahmen (PHOTO SEARCH) ist nur
im PLAYER-Modus verfügbar.

- Um die Fotofunktion zu deaktivieren, ohne eine Aufnahme
zu machen, drücken Sie erneut die Taste PHOTO.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste START/STOP.
- Das Einzelbild wird 8 Sekunden lang aufgezeichnet.
3. Anschließend wird die Fotofunktion automatisch deak-
tiviert.
- Das Einzelbild wird erst dann auf das Band aufge-
zeichnet, wenn Sie die Taste START/STOP drücken.
- Wenn der digitale Effekt GHOST aktiviert ist, steht die
Fotofunktion nicht zur Verfügung.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste MENU ON/OFF.
- Das Menü erscheint.

Menüoption PHOTO SEARCH.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER, um das
Einstellmenü für PHOTO SEARCH
aufzurufen.
4. Wählen Sie mit der Taste
Suchrichtung aus.
- Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER.
- Der Camcorder sucht in der ange-
gebenen Richtung nach einer Foto-
Aufnahme. Wenn der Camcorder eine
Foto-Aufnahme erkennt, zeigt er sie
an, und das Menü wird ausgeblendet.
