Playing a CD. As well as normal playback, you can use folder playback, program playback, random
playback and repeat playback.

Playing a CD

Load and play a CD.
If you have already loaded a disc, just press the [CDE] key to turn the system on and
begin playback.

Press the [L] key on the main unit to open the CD tray and
then load the CD.

Press the [L] key on the main unit to close the CD tray.
The "READING" message fl ashes while the unit is reading the information on the
CD.

Press the [CDE] key.
Track number

A CD is loaded in
the tray.
When you play the following types of disc, track numbers may not be displayed
correctly.
Discs recorded in Mix mode*
Discs recorded in multiple sessions
Discs recorded in mixed formats of CD-DA format and formats that are not
music data

Mix mode is a mode in which the CD-DA format is combined with audio fi le such as MP3,
WMA and AAC.
Load the disc that the labeled side
faces upwards and the disc sits
snugly in the tray.
The system displays text information
such as track names and album names
for CD-TEXT discs.
