Adjusting the External Component Input Level

Use the procedure below to adjust the input level for the external
component connected to the [PHONO IN], [TAPE IN] or [AUX IN]
terminal.
Use this adjustment when the volume from an external component
is noticeably higher or lower than other input sources at the same
volume setting.

Select the input source to adjust the input level.
Turn the [INPUT SELECTOR] knob and select the
input source to adjust the input level.
You can set the input level for each of PHONO, TAPE and AUX.

Press the [MODE] key.

Select "INPUT LEVEL".
Press the [A] or [B] key.
Press the [ENTER] key.

Set the input level.
Press the [A] or [B] key.
Press the [ENTER] key.
If you adjust the input level for PHONO or AUX, the output level from the
[TAPE OUT] terminal will also change.
External Components
You can adjust the input level in a
range from –3 to +5.
