LCD Display Messages

The following are the display action messages and description that appears on your LCD
screen while you are in programming mode.
LCD PROGRAMMING MESSAGES
1. CODE SET:
Setup a code.
2. MAN SRCH:
Manual code search from the remote code library.
3. AUTO SRCH: Automatic code search from the remote code library.
4. IR LEARN:
Learn additional functions into a key.
5. IR DELETE:
Delete the learned function from a key.
6. VOL LOCK:
Locking the volume of the remote to a designated device.
7. VOL UNLOCK: Unlocking the volume of the remote from a locked device.
8. KEY MACRO: Setup or Delete a macro key sequence for a key.
9. MODE MAP:
Reassign (or map) from one device to another.
10.CLOCK SET:
Setting the clock time on the remote.
11. SLEEP SET:
Setting the timer to put the remote in the Sleep
Timer mode.
12.OPS RESET:
Operational Reset
13.MFR RESET:
Manufacturing Reset (See page 20)
In order to access all 13 programming items shown below, special key press cycle
must be performed to get into this mode.
LCD RESPONSE MESSAGES
SUCCESS:
A required task or operation was successful.
INVALID:
A wrong key sequence or invalid data.
NOT FOUND: A requested setup code not found in the code library.
UNLOCKED: Message to notify you that the Volume function is unlocked.
Notifies you the maximum number of minutes for Sleep
MAX=240:
Timer is 240 minutes.
Notifies you the maximum # Keystrokes allowed in a Macro
MAX=15:
Sequence is 15 keys.
SLEEP MODE: Indicates the remote is currently in the Sleep Timer mode.
END CYCLE: A complete cycle of the code search in the code library has
been reached.
EXIT SETUP: Escape or exit from the programming mode, or time-out.
Any other error not specifically mentioned.
ERROR:
A requested Learned Key to be deleted.
DELETED:
RESET RAM: Indicate the RAM reset action has been done.
RESET E2:
Indicates the EEPROM reset action has been done.
BAD E2:
Indicate checking result of E2 status either bad or not present.
MEM FULL:
A learned key data storage encounters memory full.
MEM FAULT: A learned key data storage encounters some error in memory.
ACTION MESSAGE DISPLAY
SEL MACKEY: Prompts you to enter a key for Macro Sequence.
ENTER SEQ:
Prompts you to enter a keystroke for the macro sequence.
SEL TO END: Prompts you to press (and Hold down for at least
3 seconds) the SELECT key to return to normal operation.
FROM MODE: Prompts you to enter the source mode in Mode Reassignment.
TO MODE:
Prompts you to enter the destination mode in Mode
Reassignment.
LEARNING:
Prompts you to start and proceed learning the IR data
into a key.
DELETING:
Prompts you with the deleting data from a key in
progress.
CONFIRM:
Prompts you to confirm or take action on operation.
Prompts you that setup control is going to be cleared.
