Conveyance drive mechanism

• The lower feeder unit is not provided with any drive motor. The driving force for media
feeding and conveyance (drive from M1) is transmitted through a coupling gear from the
printer.
• The media separation mechanism uses separation claws installed in the unit and elastic-
ity of the media. It ensures that only one sheet of media is fed in at time.
• The
