Press the Z button to print a pattern to determine the thickness of the

Select the pattern number with the least misalignment from the print

Press the Z button to view instructions for
removing the paper. Follow the on-screen
instructions to remove the paper.
Instructions are not displayed if no paper is loaded.
Highlight the paper to be loaded and press the Z
button. Follow the on-screen instructions to load
the paper.
If paper is already loaded in the printer, the
instructions for removing the loaded paper type
will be displayed before loading instructions are
shown.
You can select the media type that is the closest to
the paper you are using.
Select this option if you do not wish to specify the
paper type.
Select the platen gap which is the distance
between the print head and the paper. Normally,
select Standard. Select a wider setting if printed
images are smeared. If, upon performing head
alignment you feel that it is still not completely
aligned, select Narrow.
