Reset/Restore the Unit and Database

If you make an error during an entry, press the asterisk key (*) to begin again.
Restore Factory Settings:
Proceed With CAUTION!
When this is completed, Directory Codes, Entry Codes, Cards, Transmitters, Holidays
and Schedules WILL NOT be reset. All other programming will be reset to the factory
settings. See the Quick Reference Guide to review the factory settings (pages 4-8).
Important: Once you restore the Factory Settings, you cannot retrieve the deleted
settings unless they are saved in Versa XS.

Reset the Unit:
You can reset the unit without disconnecting the power. If you must reset the unit,
please contact your installation dealer as this may indicate a larger problem with the
system and/or its installation.
Important: Once you press the (#) key, the unit will reset, exit out of the
programming mode, and play the restart chime following the reset.

Delete ALL Access Codes from Database:
Proceed With CAUTION! This will delete ALL Access Codes from unit. (Directory,
Entry, Card and Transmitter)
Important: Once you delete ALL of the access codes, you cannot restore them to the
database unless they are saved in Versa XS.
