662 A diskette drive configuration error occurred. 1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program and

11xx A system board serial port 1 error occurred
(xx can be any number or letter).
1601 A BIOS code update is required.
1602 The cable for the optional Remote
Supervisor Adapter II is not installed.
1762 A hard disk drive configuration error

in the order shown, restarting the computer each
time:
a. Diskette drive cable
b. Diskette drive
c. (Trained service technician only) System board
1. Make sure that the IRQ and I/O port assignments
needed by the serial port are available.
2. If all interrupts are being used by adapters, remove
an adapter to make an interrupt available to the
serial port, or force other adapters to share an
interrupt.
3. Make sure that the serial port setting is correct in
the Configuration/Setup Utility program. If the
setting is not correct, change it and save the
settings.

system board.
