201 An error occurred during the memory
controller test. This error can be caused by:
v Incorrectly installed memory
v A failing memory module
v A system board problem
229 An internal cache (L2) error occurred.
289 An error occurred during POST memory
tests and a DIMM was disabled.

Action
Make sure that the microprocessors are of the same
type and speed.

1. If you just installed memory, make sure that the
new memory is correct for the computer.
2. Reseat the DIMM.
3. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the computer each
time:

optional microprocessor.

Configuration/Setup Utility program and enable the
DIMM.
