Use only original batteries and charge them only on the original base
station or charger pod(s).
Insert the batteries properly as previously described.
Do not dispose of the batteries in fire: this may cause an explosion.
Remove the batteries from its compartment if the phone is not used for a
long period of time.

Connect the base unit to the telephone line.
Switch OFF power at the mains socket
and insert the telephone line plug into
the socket then switch mains power
back ON.
