Scanning a DV tape

Scanning the DV tape identifies individual clips and provides a thumbnail list
of the entire tape contents. Save the scan as a DV Album (PSF file) which
provides a log of the entire tape for future reference.
The Scan menu item and toolbar button are enabled when the DV
camcorder is on and the device control and capture plug-in have been
initialized. When you press the Scan button, Video Capture opens the Scan
DV Tape dialog box.
