After a package has been imported into the Software Manager database, you can do the
following to manage it:
Add the package to Revision Control to protect it from unauthorized changes and to
track changes to the package.
Group packages for more efficient management and for group deployment.
View package resources, either on-screen or by running any of the predefined
Software Manager reports or a Window Installer table query report.
Use ConflictManager to detect and resolve conflicts between packages in the
Software Manager database.
See About Conflict Detection and Resolution in the Conflict Manager Help.
Remove files that are in the SetupCapture exclusion list from package in the
Software Manager database.
Perform operations on .MSI or .WSI packages to add, remove, or replace merge
modules.
Compile multiple packages.
